Reporting to the Safe Care Manager, the Availability advisor provides technical oversight to the supplies chain management at the Ipas Africa Alliance to enhance availability of comprehensive abortion care and contraceptive services. He/ She develops and implements strategies designed to enhance availability and accessibility of abortion care technologies and commodities including Ipas MVA plus kits, MA drugs Contraceptive commodities and related supplies in all intervention facilities. He/ she works closely with the quality of care team and ASRH advisor to ensure to enhance program implementation and sustainable supplies in intervention counties.Â S/he is responsible for supporting the planning, development, and implementation of the organizational medical supplies quality assurance policy for sustainable Ipas programming. This position is based at the Alliance field office in Kisumu.
Identifies and recommends suppliers of abortion care equipment, commodities and supplies in accordance to Ipas policies and processes and liaises with the other technicalÂ Â that Ipas and service providers can implement cost effective programs that align to the value for money principle.
