    Ipas is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (HRS), Global Administrative Support. The HRS is responsible for supporting Human Resources in our Global Offices and serving as a back-up for our US based Payroll and Benefit Specialist. The primary role of this position is the day to day administration of data for all Global employee transactions (hires, transfers, separations, promotions, pay increases, etc) within our Workday HRIS. The HRS will also provide support for the annual compensation planning and benefits open enrollment processes, initiate Background Checks for all new hires and monitor their completion, issue exit surveys and ensure high completion rates, act as an advocate and ensure data integrity at all times. Develop partnerships with the Global Regional HR Staff, and ensure they are confident that their tasks will be completed accurately and in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage processes for new hires, terminations, and salary or position changes, including the preparation of offer letters and new hire kits, new hire orientations, exit interviews, and the like, as needed by Global Offices.
    • Ensure accuracy of all system information and reporting, including personnel files, overall file compliance and maintenance; recommend best practices for overall efficiencies in this area.
    • Maintains and updates compensation HRIS data and resources to include job and position titles, salary ranges, job descriptions and geographic differentials.
    • Contributes to compensation strategy and services through the support, maintenance and administration of compensation programs.
    • Provides wage market analysis and reporting support and has an active role on annual processes such as salary planning and bonus cycles.
    • Keeps up with industry trends, the competitive environment, regulatory issues, and compliance requirements, conducting ongoing research in these areas, as needed.
    • Maintains online Global job description inventory and tracking updates or request updates as needed to support accurate record keeping.
    • Maintains compensation related data tables in HRIS system. May generate ad-hoc reports and run system audits in efforts to ensure data integrity for compensation-related processes.
    • Manage employee-focused projects as directed by business needs, i.e., training initiatives, rewards and recognition programs, etc.
    • Support the annual performance process for the global offices through systems and training.
    • Host regularly scheduled regional or global meetings to partner with in country HR staff.
    • Liaise with Global offices, operations departments, and other firm resources as needed to achieve firm-wide goals.
    • Develop a holistic understanding of non-profit global strategic communications, research, and non-profit global trends, and competitors to enhance support to employees and employee-related initiatives.

    Requirements

    Minimum

    Bachelor’s degree required. Educational background in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or related field a plus.
    2+ years of progressively responsible experience in Global Human Resources at supporting multiple countries.
    2+ years’ experience with Workday HRIS, Processes, Workflow, and HCM transaction.
    Demonstrated initiative and drive with an ability to work independently, while fostering an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration.
    Excellent customer-service skills with the ability and desire to engage staff and serve as an advocate of employee-related or other business initiatives.
    Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and HRIS.
    Strong organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. High integrity, sound judgment and discretion regarding the handling of confidential information.

     

    Preferred

    2+ years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources at a global non-governmental organization supporting multiple countries
    Familiarity with labor laws in developing countries
    Demonstrated experience acting as a partner to diverse populations based in multiple offices
    Ability to exercise sound judgement that takes into account cultural sensitivities
    Professional experience outside of the US, preferably in Africa, Asia, or Latin America
    Fluency in Spanish, French, Portuguese, and/or Hindi
