    Ipas is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending preventable deaths and disabilities from unintended pregnancies and unsafe abortion. Through local, national and global partnerships, Ipas works to ensure that women and girls can enhance their sexual and reproductive health via affordable, safe, respectful and comprehensive abortion and contraceptive care. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of: Logistic Associate, to be located in Islamabad, Pakistan.


    The Logistic Associate is responsible for the assessment and management of overall logistics needs for the country office and implementation sites. The position provides necessary training to government partners on supply chain management. The position also collaborates with Senior Advisor Health Systems staff to strengthen family planning and comprehensive abortion care service delivery through the facility upgrades, assess RH commodities needs and supply PAC-FP commodities, and ensure PAC-FP supplies at the intervention sites, record keeping for program and donor reporting. The role provides planning of RH commodities supply and service delivery strategies for expanding access to contraceptive services and safe abortion care. 


    • Plans and organizes facility assessment and upgrades, smooth supply of RH commodities at the intervention sites to improve service delivery
    • Acts as liaison with the government/health officials and partners and coordinating required site renovation or upgradation support.
    • Plan and assist administration unit for forecasting, purchasing and supplying PAC-FP commodities and equipment per Ipas procurement policy and coordinates delivery of supplies to the sites that have been identified as having insufficient PAC-FP commodities and PAC equipment
    • Assess and manage provision of infection prevention supplies at facility level

    • Liaises with the government officials and assist inclusion of PAC and FP commodities in the government/institutional operational plans for commodity sustainability.
    • Coordinates the meeting at health site for commodity security and to strengthen supply chain management of Pac-FP commodities at the intervention sites.
    • Forecast/manage expenditures for commodity supply
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Internal & External Customers / Suppliers as well as Third Parties

    • Reports to HS unit in reference to workflow, deadlines, reports and projects
    • Maintains relationships with service facilities and other non-profits/governments
    • Works with managers, directors and other departments in reference to reports, planning, policies and procedures





    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5+ years' experience


    • Experience preferably in the field of family planning and abortion services
    • Experience working in a government/clinical environment
    • Experience working in a non-profit organization
    • Knowledge on supply chain Management
    • Advanced degree
    • 4 or more years of program management experience
