  • Overview

    The ITS Technology Trainer will report to the ITS Global Support Manager and will be responsible for implementing strategic training initiatives across the organization.  The Technology Trainer will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and delivering training materials to our global organization.  This role is a key component in growing the IT technical knowledge of our organization’s staff.


    The ITS Technology Trainer will report to the IT Global Support Manager and will be responsible for the following roles and responsibilities at Ipas.


    • Content creation: The ITS Trainer will be responsible for creating training content in a variety of formats.  Experience with digital video content creation, digital tutorial content creation, scripted classroom demonstrations, and written training/tutorial content creation are essential to this role.
    • Learning Management System Administrator: The ITS Trainer will be responsible for helping administrate our Learning Management System (LMS).  This will require a familiarity with online learning platforms and web-based training platforms.  As an administrator, the ITS Trainer is responsible for multimedia content development and publishing from within the LMS system.  The ITS Trainer will also be responsible for the development of quizzes, polls, and metrics to measure organizational learning from within the LMS system.
    • Live Training Sessions:  The ITS Trainer must have engaging interpersonal skills and be comfortable speaking in front of a live or virtual audience.  The ITS Trainer should be well versed in audience participation and adept at keeping material relevant for live or virtual audiences.



    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related area – 4+ years’ experience in IT end-user support
    • Proficient knowledge of Windows PCs and MS Office applications.
    • Prior experience with video and audio editing software to produce polished A/V productions
    • Prior experience with training individuals or groups.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Good organizational skills



    • Experience with Absorb LMS training software
    • Experience with content creation or administration within a LMS.
    • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Lync/Skype for Business, Exchange email
    • Proficient Spanish or French language skills a plus
